THE Warriors hosted a match against Macquarie United Orange on Sunday.

Macquarie scored first but Warriors replied to make it 1-1 minutes later. As the first half continued the Warriors spent a lot of time in the opposition half, but with no luck.

At half time it was 2-2, and minutes into the second half Macquarie scored again. Suddenly there was some talk on the field from the Warriors lifting their spirits.

The tide turned and in five minutes Oberon scored two goals after some great teamwork.

Mr President scored a lovely goal, started from the right-hand side by Danny Boy.

At the kick off, Mitch went for a run and managed to beat a number of defenders and also placed it past the keeper.

With 15 minutes to go Hoges took on the defence, and scored the Warriors fifth goal. Unfortunately he injured himself and had to leave the field.

Macquarie scored one more, making the final score 5-4 to the Warriors. Kyle played a strong game in defence, and was supported by Country, Killer and Andy Whittaker.

Browny was made to run hard all day, meanwhile Jimmy D was busy being comedy relief for the day.

Mr President and Mitch scored two goals, and scored highly in the man of the match awards. Next Sunday the team will play in Bathurst with an 11am kick-off.
