Two indoor bowls singles championship matches were played on June 22 at Oberon RSL.

In the club women's singles Kathryn Maloney defeated Julie Giovannetti.

In the men’s singles Kevin Whalan defeated Ian Stapleton.

In the team bowling competition the winning team was Gil Dalbusco, Alan Price and Lynette Maloney.

Team runners-up were Kevin Whalan and Ian Stapleton.

Two resters were bowled on the night – Gil Dalbusco and Julie Giovannetti scored one each. Well done Gil and Julie.

Indoor bowls starts play at 7.l5pm every Tuesday at the Oberon RSL Club and players names must be in by 7pm.

Burraga

Lorraine Clayton won the Burraga indoor bowls raffle on June 23.

Indoor bowling team winners were Gil Dalbusco (skip) and Mavis Lucchitti.

The runners-up in the teams competition were Andy Lucchitti (skip) and. Armando Giovannetti.

Resters went to Tony Press, with two, and Wanda King, Gil Dalbusco and Armando Giovannetti, with one each.

There were nine players bowling. Burraga indoor members will not be playing bowls on July 7.
