A great range of rugby league, soccer, netball and rugby union sports coaching camps featuring quality coaches will be offered by Quality Sports in Orange during the next school holidays.
All camps cater for residential places or day participants using the facilities at Kinross Wolaroi School. Full residential camps with accommodation and meals cost $315 or live-out costs, with lunch provided, is $260. Participants also receive a ball for their respective sports.
The rugby league camp will be held over three days on July 5-7 with quality coaches Wade Judd and Matt Walkom who are both Development officers from the NSW CRL based at Bathurst and Dubbo respectively. This camp is open to children aged 8 to 12 years.
The soccer camp will be open to children aged 8 to 14 years and Kym Watterson and Jarrod Burns will take the children through all the skills of the game over the three days of July 5,6 and 7.
Orange Netball coach Mardi Aplin will be head coach at the netball camp. Assisting will be former Fiji netball captain and current Sydney University player Mere Rabuka who will return to Orange to assist once again with the coaching of players aged 10 to 16 years. The three-day netball camp will be from Sunday July 11 to Tuesday July 13. The final camp, for rugby, will be for children aged 9 to 12 and will be from Tuesday, July 13 to Thursday, July 15. Coaching will be led by ARU Development officer Michael Gray, with assistance from high profile coaches Dave Cleal, Steve Hamson and Stuart Ogilvy.
