Last weekend Oberon played host to Macquarie United in the United challenge. Macquarie sent up an eager young third grade squad to play the Oberon United fourth grade squad.
It was a great hitout and with the weather being on the warm side, both teams agreed to play four 20-minute periods.
The trial game was played in good spirits, and the Macquarie team scored the winning goal in the last period of play, to win 1-0..
The game highlighted some new talent for the coming season.
Brad Kilby made his debut for the club had a very good game with great energy levels.
Bruce and Kyle arrived and showed some very good touches, as well as being positive on the park.
Then there was the return of the legend, Brad Harvey who put on the boots to help out, and with Dylan by his side, the pair played great games.
