OBERON riders gave the mountain a pounding on May 16 at the Mount Panorama Motorcycle Club Beard Brothers round two event.
The local riders had success across the board, with many podium finishes.
Jake Foley finished first in the 7-9 years 50cc, Tommy McCusker finished first in the 9-12 years 85cc and Luke Newstead earned a third place in the 250cc B Grade, behind Mitch Armstrong who was first.
Summa Coughlan was second in the All Power Women’s Division and Cory McCort had a successful day in the over 35s division.
Brendan Slattery, who was sponsored by Wills Tyres, had a very busy day, coming second overall in the A grade and opens, as well as winning the A grade heat and coming second in the A grade 450cc.
