Katie scores top double on busy ladies’ golf day

June 2 was a busy day for the Oberon lady golfers with a stroke event, Monthly Medal, the quarterly eclectic finals and the quarterly pointscore final sponsored by Oberon First National Real Estate.

The Monthly Medal was won by Katie Graham, who also won first division and the putting competition. Congratulations Katie.

Robyn Slattery was second and Marjorie Webb third. Second division was won by Helen Toohill with Maree Arrow second and Bev Dale third. Bev also won the putting on a countback from Helen.

The eight qualifiers for the Arrows Trophy are Maree Arrow, Bev Dale, Katie Graham, Lyn Prowse, Robyn Slattery, Helen Toohill, Marjorie Webb and Sue Webb.

The quarterly eclectic competition scratch was won by Robyn Slattery with Robyn also winning the A grade net. Glennie McGrath won the B grade net and the C Grade net winner was Lyn Prowse.

The Quarterly Oberon First National Real Estate pointscore competition was won by Joan Graham in division one with 23 points, with Glennie McGrath and Marjorie Webb each having 21 points. Division two was won by Helen Toohill with 24 points with Elizabeth Mawhood second on 22 points.

June 16 will be an 18 hole par event and the second round of the Arrows Newsagency Eliminator (trophies Margaret Grady). One June 23there will be an 18 hole stroke, the third round of the Arrows Newsagency Eliminator and the fifth round of the WGNSW Medal (trophies Yvonne Collins). June 30 will be an 18 hole stableford and the final of the Arrows Newsagency Eliminator.
