Hello fisherpersons. The rain during the past month will hopefully help our water woes.
Club members have been heading to the ocean to wet a line and have had some luck with a good weekend at Batemans Bay for the crew.
I am still out west where the rivers are in full flow – the Darling, Barwon and Bogan Rivers are looking great. Some good yellowbelly are being caught at the weir at Brewarrina and also on the Darling south of Bourke.
The weather is still reasonably warm out west but apparently cold in Oberon as I saw Peter Brennan doing his Kenny Rogers impersonation. I hope all the mothers had a good Mother’s Day. See you soon.
