 Big year tipped for touch

Big year tipped for touch

29 Oct, 2009 09:08 AM
Keen touch footballers in Oberon are pulling on their joggers with the start of the season looming. The competition will begin on November 5.

Oberon had a ripper touch footy competition last season with around 24 teams from 12 years and up competing and this year it is looking just as popular.

As in past years the Oberon business community has got behind this sport, showing strong support by sponsoring perpetual trophies.

Local businesses that will be sponsoring trophies this year include the Oberon Leagues Club, P and G Varlas Automotive, Barkers Butchery and Mawhoods Super IGA.
