Two games of men’s triples were played at Oberon RSL Bowling Club in glorious winter weather last Saturday afternoon. Hans Braun, B. Fitzpatrick and K. Braun defeated K. Kitt, C. Pitt and G. Dalbusco 20-9.
In a close encounter D. Evans' team of M. Duffy, D. Sajowitz defeated P. Finlay, B. Lawson and M. McKechnie 19-17.
Peggy McIntosh and Inge Braun succeeded in holding Karl Braun and Ken Kitt at bay with a 20-15 win on Sunday afternoon, President P. Finlay prevailed over Hans Braun in a singles championship game with a score of 31-11.
Subscription fees are due by August 31. Please contact the secretary or treasurer on or before this date. Come along and enjoy an afternoon of bowls. Bowlers play on Fridays at 3 pm and on Saturday/ Sunday at 1 pm. Names in half hour before starting time. Come and play the better game. See you on the Green.
