Only one trophy per team was presented on the night and it is always a big surprise to learn who will be rewarded for their efforts throughout the district representative season.

This year Olivia Sullivan received her team’s trophy for the Under 11s green team, Meg Booth received hers for the Under 13s whites and Sarah McCusker received hers for the under 15s white team.

It is a great achievement by these girls who were chosen by the team coach and manager for the awards from all girls representing Bathurst District Hockey during the 2010 season.

It is an outstanding effort that three Oberon girls were chosen from among the six district teams.

It is a tremendous achievement for all three and they should be very proud of their efforts.

Special thanks Sharon Foley who managed the Under 13s team and Leonie Oxley who was the manager for the Under 11s white team.

There is a lot of work involved in managing these teams, and Sharon and Leonie need to be applauded for their efforts and hard work.

Oberon Junior Hockey Club had a lot of girls who represented Bathurst in the district teams in 2010 and should be proud of of its achievements this year.

It is good to see so many girls from Oberon representing Oberon.
