District hockey success for our under 11 girls

30 Jul, 2010 08:48 AM
FOUR Oberon girls selected in under 11 Bathurst district hockey teams have performed well throughout this season.

Danielle Fisher, Laura McFawn and Emma Oxley played for the district white team and Olivia Sullivan for the green team.

Both teams competed at carnivals in Lithgow, Canberra and Orange.

The girls all played brilliant hockey over the season, giving 110 per cent in every game and having a lot of fun along the way.

The green team had a great season playing good hockey and doing well in all three carnivals.

The white team only lost two games overall.

They finished third in Canberra and at the Western Conference in Orange they won all their games taking out first place.

Well done girls.

It is great to see so many Oberon girls being selected in all the Bathurst district teams this year.
