BWG u11s test girls’ hockey leaders

Under 11s

THE Oberon BWG Under 11s hockey side played undefeated competition leaders St Pat’s White this week.

Although going down 6-4 the Oberon girls gave Pat’s a tough fight.

At half time Oberon was 4-1 down but the girls clawed there way back to 4- all and showed how well they play as a team. With strong hitting, and strong marking Oberon was unlucky not to keep the score as a draw but two late goals gave St Pat’s a 6-4 win.

Oberon goal scorers were Danielle Fisher (2) and Caitlin Reeves (2) – her first for the season. All the girls should be very proud on how well they played – it was the best game you have played all season, so give yourselves a big pat on the back. This week’s Oberon's First National Real Estate players’ player went to Olivia Sullivan. Well done Olivia!
