THE Monthly Medal, stroke event and Goodwill Plate were held on April 14 after wet weather prevented play on April 7.
Winner of the Monthly Medal, on a countback from Alma Hotham, was Lyn Prowse who also won Division 2 and the Goodwill Plate. The Goodwill Plate is a fund raiser for the Carers Association of NSW. Congratulations Lyn.
In the stroke event the division one winner was Alma Hotham, with Glennie McGrath second and Yvonne Collins third. Division two was won by Lyn Prowse with Elizabeth Mawhood second and Bev Dale third. The putting in division one was won by Yvonne Collins with Vonda Voytilla the winner in division two on a countback from Lyn Prowse.
April 28 will be a Bring a New Player Ribbon Day with trophies by Sue Webb.
May events are: May 5 – 18 hole stroke event, Monthly Medal, the third round of the WGNSW Medal and the Mabel Mackenzie Brooch. May 12 – 18 hole stableford with trophies by Marjorie Webb. May 19 – 18 hole par event. May 26 – Foursomes Championship, Point Score Trophies sponsored by Oberon First National Real Estate and the last day of the Second Quarter Eclectic competition.
The monster garage sale will tbe on Sunday, May 2 from 10am at Oberon Golf Club.
