The first round of the Oberon Women’s Golf Club Championships starts tomorrow, March 19. The second round will be held on March 24, the 3rd round on March 26 and the fourth and final round on March 31.
An 18 hole stableford event with trophies donated by Elizabeth Pollock was held on March 10. The first division winner was Glennie McGrath. Second was Marjorie Webb and Joan Graham was third. The division two winner was Elizabeth Mawhood, with Helen Toohill second and Joan Sullivan third on a countback from Elizabeth Pollock. Nearest the pin winners were Bev Dale in first division and Elizabeth Pollock in second division.
In conjunction with the second round of the Club Championships on March 24 there will also be an 18 hole stroke event, the first 36 hole trophy donated by Katie Graham and the first round of the WGNSW Medal International Bowl. March 26 will be an 18 hole stroke event with an optional 18 hole stableford event and the third round of the Club Championships.
March 31will be an 18 hole stroke event, or an optional 18 hole stableford event, and the fourth and final round of the Club Championships. the second round of the 36 hole trophy, donated by Country Belle, and the 72-hole trophy donated by Kath Cunynghame.
