THE 18-hole four person medley ambrose for trophies donated by Bob Bearup and Brian Balaam attracted 52 golfers on Saturday. Robert McGrath, Greg Coles, Anthony McGrath and Steve Serong were the winning team with 527/8 net. Runners up were Robyn Slattery, Colleen Saul, Zac Elwin and Kyall Ryan with 543/8 net.
Nearest to the pin winners: on the 1st, Roger Arrow, Peter Ryan, Bob Slattery and Ralph Harrison with 2.11metres; on the 2nd, Blake Miller, Don Miller and Anthony Miller with 93cm; on the 10th, Mick and Kate English, Kevin and Stella McGrath with 510cms; and on the 12th, Adrian Poulten, Brian Balaam and Eric Whalan with 7.95m.
Balls for ability went to John Fitzpatrick, Bart Fitzpatrick, Greg Hotham and Dick Foran.
Bill Dawson took out the Thursday golf with 28 points. Balls went to John McKinnon, Bill Wilcox, Russell King, Peter Dale and Kevin Plummer.
Saturday raffle winner was Bill Grady.
Golf this week will be an 18-hole stableford for trophies donated by Steve Serong and an 18-hole four ball stableford aggregate stableford for trophies donated by Michael Bennet of Lithgow Holden. On October 4 there will be an 18-hole stroke for trophies donated by Steve and Gerard Hogan along with the monthly medals and putting.
On Monday, October 6 there will be an 18-hole stableford three-stick event for the Brian Harvey memorial trophy.
