On Wednesday, April 9th, the women golfers played an 18 holes par competition. The winner of Division 1 was Stella McGrath with a score of plus 5. Colleen Saul came second, with plus 2, on a countback from Robyn Slattery. Nearest to the pin was Stella McGrath.
The winner of Division 2 was Cathy McFawn with plus 2. Vonda Voytilla came second with plus 1 and Maree Arrow, with a square, came third on a countback from Margaret Grady. Cathy McFawn was also nearest to the pin.
Next Wednesday, April 23rd, there will be an 18 holes stableford event. The Blue Mountains District Ladies Golf Association will hold the Joan Case Day at Oberon on Monday, April 28th. Portland’s Open day will be held on Monday, May 5th.
