SEVERAL Oberon golfers cometed at the Blue Mountains Ladies Golf Association Tournament held at Springwood from August 23- 25.
Various events were held over the 3 days.
Only a small field braved winter conditions to compete in an Oberon Women’s Golf Club 18 hole stableford event at Oberon on Wednesday, August 25.
The winner was Vonda Voytilla with 33 points.
Elizabeth Mackenzie was second with 30 points and Alma Hotham third with 29.
Nearest the pin was won by E. Mackenzie and Wilma Artery.
On Monday, September 13 the final of the BMDLGA 3BBB Ladies Team Classic will be held at Blackheath.
Oberon will be represented by our winning team of Marjorie Webb, Wilma Artery and Sue Webb.
