Sponsor will be back for women’s open day

Ray White Real Estate will again sponsor the Oberon Women’s Golf Club Open Day on Monday, November 23.

Visitors from various clubs in the area, including some from from the Blue Mountains, are expected to attend.

Glennie McGrath took out the Arrows Eliminator from Vonda Voytilla.

The club held an 18 hole stroke event with trophies donated by the club. The winner in division one was Joan Graham with Robyn Slattery second on a countback from Glennie McGrath.

Glennie was also nearest the pin.

Division two was won by Joan Sullivan with Elizabeth Mawhood second and Helen Toohill third.

Helen also won nearest the pin.

Members will hold an 18 hole stableford event on Wednesday, November 25 with trophies donated by the club.

The point score trophies will be sponsored by Oberon First National Real Estate.

On Wednesday the usual 18 hole monthly medal will be held with trophies donated by the club.

Our Christmas Party this year will be held at Savannah’s on Wednesday, December 9. Cost is $32 a head for a two-course meal, nibblies, punch, etc.

Bring you own grog. Money must be in by December 2.
