Small field for men’s golf

An 18 hole stableford for trophies donated by the club attracted only 15 players on Saturday.

The winner was Robert Hayden with 38 points on a count-back from Mick English.

Third place went to Dick Northey

Nearest to the pin winners: On the first, Mick English with 2.20m; on the 7th Russell King with 1.88m; on the 9th Laurie Murphy with 4.40m; on the 17th Mick English with 4.59m.

The Thursday golf winner was Scott Rowlandson with 28 points. Balls went to Doug Collins, Ian Mackenzie and Alan Sharpe

Golf this week will be an 18 hole stroke for trophies donated by John Hackfath, the monthly medals and putting sponsored by John Brien.

On September 12 there will be an 18 hole stableford for trophies donated by Robert Hayden

Don’t forget this Friday night is the first Friday of the month so there will the membership draw of $50.

You must be in the club to claim the prize and meals are available for only $ 10.
