ROBYN SLATTERY took out the A grade title in the final round of the women’s golf championships and the second 36 hole Country Belle event on March 31.
Other results from the day are: A grade runner-up Stella McGrath; B grade – winner Glennie McGrath, runner-up Joan Graham; C grade – winner Helen Toohill, runner-up Vonda Voytilla.
The 72 hole championship trophy, donated by Kath Cunynghame, was won by Helen Toohill.
There was also an 18 hole stroke event played. Helen Toohill was first, Robyn Slattery second and Joan Graham third.
Glennie also won the putting.
Wednesday, April 14, will be an 18 hole stableford event with trophies by Alma Hotham. Don’t forget that Monday, April 19, is Oberon’s Open Day (entries close April 12) with trophies donated by Ray White Real Estate.
It is hoped the club we have as good a roll-up as last year when 55 golfers representing 11 clubs attended.
Wednesday, April 21 will see a three-stick event 18 hole stableford with trophies by Helen Toohill.
On April 28 there will be a “Bring a New Player Ribbon Day” with trophies by Sue Webb.
The club’s Monster Garage Sale will take place on Sunday, May 2 from 10am at Oberon Golf Club. Come along and find a bargain!
