King wins A grade 18 hole golf

On Saturday an 18 hole stroke for trophies donated by Bob Slattery was played attracting 50 players. The winner in ‘A’ grade was David King with 83/68 the runner up was Barry Lang with 80/69. In ‘B’ grade the winner was Anthony Miller with 92/66 on a count-back from the runner up who was Barry Stubbs also with 89/66.

Nearest to the pin winners were on the 1st it was Robert McGrath with 2-25mts on the 2nd it was Narayan Rodwell with 4-90mts on the 10th it was Roger Arrow with 4-60mts and on the 12th it was Barry Stubbs with 3-60mts

Balls for ability went to Mick English, Reg Cunynghame, Dick Foran, Grant Underwood, Peter Ryan, Greg Coles and Kevin Plummer

Thursday golf the winner was Joe Moio with 31 points. Balls went to Doug Collins, Bill Dawson, Scott Rowlandson, Ian Mackenzie, Greg Willis and Roger Arrow

Saturday raffle 1st Stella McGrath

Golf this week will be an 18hole stroke for trophies donated by Rodney Gibbs and also the monthly medals and putting sponsored by John Brien and on August 9 it will be an 18 hole stableford for trophies donated by Jeff Harris

Don’t forget this Friday night is the first Friday of the month come up for a game of cards, snack or a yarn and drink

This Saturday the raffle will be an $ 50-00 meat tray
