Green team takes golf challenge

AN 18 hole Match Play Captain versus President event for trophies donated by the club attracted 12 women golfers on a wet, windy and cold day on Wednesday, October 14.

The winning team was the Captain's team headed by Katie Graham. 3.5 to 2.5.

It was also the final day for the Silver Slaver which was won by Glennie McGrath on the 18th hole from Lyn Prowse.

On Monday October 26th it will be the 6th round of the Pennants.

Wednesday October 28th it will be a Par round and also the second round of the Arrows Newsagency Eliminator. Trophies by K. English.

Don't forget that on Tuesday November 3 there will be a Melbourne Cup Day Ambrose and luncheon. More details next week.

On Wednesday November 4th there will be an 18 hole monthly medal and 3rd round of the Arrows Newsagency Eliminator with trophies by the club.
