On Saturday we played an 18 hole par for trophies donated by John Fitzpatrick fencing contractors with 43 players. The A grade winner was Graham Hotham with plus seven and runner-up was Scott Rowlandson with plus four. In B grade the winner was Wayne Ortlipp with plus seven. The runner-up was Blake Miller with plus four. Nearest the pin winners were on the first – Jack Whittaker with 4.07mtrs; on the second it was Roger Arrow with 2.70mtrs on the 10th it was Stan Droder with 1.03mtrs and on the 12th it was Jack Whittaker with 4.27mtrs.
Balls for ability went to John Hackfath, Neil Whalan, Jack Whittaker, Keith Cleton, Dick Foran, Darren Miller, Neville Kelly, Dennis O’Connell and Harold Lyme. Thursday golf the winner was Ralph Harrison with 30 points balls went to Stan Droder, Bill Dawson, Robert Hayden, Hugh Webb, Joe Moio and Steve Paterson. Saturday raffle 1st Bob Bearup.
Golf this week will be 18 hole three ball best ball stableford for trophies donated by Adrian Poulten and an individual stableford for trophies donated by John and Bonnie Harvey.
On the July 7 it will be an 18 hole stroke and monthly medals and putting. Happy golfing to all.
