26 Aug, 2010 01:26 PM
Four Oberon golfers have made it through to the NSW Golf Fourball State Finals. The finals and associated social events will be decided over three days at Bonville Golf Resort in October.

Kim Rawlings and Mick McKechnie will compete in 2010 Sureshot gps NSW Men's Fourball State Championships, and Barry Lang and Kate Graham will compete in the the 2010 Keno NSW Mixed Fourball.

At State finals Golf NSW provides accommodation, breakfasts, a welcome dinner and presentation dinner with selected beverages and green fees and cart hire, over the three days each year.

Following qualifying, club and district qualifying rounds, 40 pairs will now battle it out for their respective State titles.

The finals will be played in stableford format over two 18- hole rounds, with the highest two round aggregate score winning.

This year both State finals will be conducted at one of Australia's leading golf resorts - Bonville Golf Resort, Coffs Harbour.

The events are unique - they allows average club golfers to participate, and make their way to a State Final of a major Championship event.

Good Luck to all four in there respective championship matches in what will be a very competitive arena.
