The Oberon Women’s Golf Club Quarterly Pointscores sponsored by Oberon First National Real Estate have been decided. Winners are: Division one - Glennie McGrath with Joan Graham as runner-up. Division two - Lyn Prowse with Colleen Saul as runner-up.
On December 9 a Canadian Two Stroke event was held. The winners were Robyn Slattery and Gail Voerman. Second was Margaret Grady and Glennie McGrath. Vicki Keen and Marjorie Webb finished third.
Nearest the Pin on the 9th was won by Robyn Slattery and Gail Voerman and on the 18th by Bev Dale and Helen Toohill.
There will be Stableford events held on Wednesdays, December 23 and 30. It will be back to the Monthly Medal on January 6.
At this stage there will be an 18 hole Stableford event on Wednesday, January 13, a “Bring A New Player” Ambrose Event on Wednesday, January 20 and an 18 hole Stableford event on Wednesday, January 28.
