Finals Day brings out winners

OBERON women golfers held an 18 hole stroke, stableford, putting and nearest the pin for the Finals Day on December 2 with trophies donated by the club.

Division one winner was Marjorie Webb. Robyn Slattery was second on a countback from Sue Webb. Putting was won by Robyn Slattery.

The monthly medal was won by Maree Arrow.

Division 2 was won by Maree Arrow with Lyn Prowse second and Helen Toohill third. The putting was won by Helen Toohill.

The Eclectic Scores for the last quarter was won by Robyn Slattery in both scratch and net in division one with Wilma Artery the winner in division two and Lyn Prowse in division three.

Stableford winners: Division one - Wilma Artery with Glennie McGrath as runner up; Division two - Vonda Voytilla with Vicki Keen as runner up.

Nearest the pins: First hole - Joan Sullivan, 7th - Joan Graham, 9th - Colleen Saul and 17th - Elizabeth Mawhood.

On December16 an 18 hole Stableford will be played. Golf will be played right through the Christmas New Year period with an 18 hole Stableford on December 23 and 30 and the Monthly Medal on January 6.
