On Saturday we played an 18 hole par competition for trophies donated by Mark Matthews with 53 players. The winner in A grade was Mike Carlin with plus seven, the runner up was Jeff Harris with plus six. In B grade the winner was Billy Gascoigne with plus nine, the runner up was Laurie Murphy with plus six.
Nearest to the pin winners were on the 1st. It was Red Zamparini with 1-15mts, on the 2nd it was David Sellers with 3-05mts, on the 10th it was Kyall Ryan with 1-69mts and on the 12th it was Darren Miller with 4-48mts.
Balls for ability went to Robert McGrath, Neil Whalan, Barry Lang, Steve Hogan, Dick Foran, Dale McLachan, Don Miller, Greg Coles and Barry Stubbs.
In Thursday golf the winner was Russell King with 27 points, balls went to Hugh Webb, Graham Hotham, Scott Rowlandson, Kyall Ryan, Wayne Sellers, Ian Mackenzie, Blake Miller, Laurie Murphy, Narayan Rodwell and Roger Arrow.
Saturday’s raffle was won by Adrian Poulten.
Golf this week will be an 18 hole stroke for trophies donated by Bob Slattery and on the 2/8/08 it will be an 18 hole stroke for trophies donated by Rodney Gibbs.
