IMPROVED weather was a feature when Oberon women golfers contested a par event on June 16 for trophies donated by Margaret Grady.
Division one was won by Katie Graham with Marjorie Webb second and Elizabeth Mackenzie third. Divi-sion two was won by Bev Dale with Lyn Prowse second and Helen Toohill third.
Nearest the pin in division one was won by Marjorie Webb and by Lyn Prowse in division two.
On June 30 it will an 18 hole stableford event with trophies donated by Lyn Prows. On Wednesday, July 7, an 18 hole stroke, the Monthly Medal and the sixth round of the WGNSW Medal will be decided.
Wednesday, July 14 will be an Irish Ambrose with trophies by Katie Graham. On July 21 a 3-BBB Ladies’ Team Classic 18 hole par event will be held, with trophies by Glennie McGrath and on July 28 it will be an 18 hole stableford with trophies by Colleen Saul.
