OBERON Women golfers had yet another washout on June 22, making it three washouts for the past four weeks. Three weeks out of four ain’t bad. Here’s hoping for next week.
Don’t forget Friday, July 1 will be soup night at the club. Come along and have a good night. The members’ draw is now up to $450.
Wednesday, July 6 will be the usual monthly medal and 18 hole stroke event, together with the sixth round of the Golf NSW Medal and the qualifying round for the Arrows Newsagency Eliminator. July 13 will be an 18 hole stableford event with trophies by Katie Graham and July 20 will be an 18 hole par event with trophies by Glennie McGrath.
July 20 is also the closing date for motions for new rules or rule alterations to be moved at the AGM on August 3. These must be given to the secretary by 2pm. Monday, July 25 is the closing date for nominations for committee positions for the AGM. The final event for July will be on the 27th – an 18 hole par event.
