ON SUNDAY the Oberon Warriors travelled to Bathurst to play Panda Grizzleys.
The Oberon team made a slow start t and found themselves down 1-0 at half time.
It was a different story in the second half as the Oberon team found some determination and began challenging for the ball.
There were several spirited challenges and emotions ran high, but players managed to stay in control and concentrate on their playing skills.
As a result the teamcame away with a 2-1 victory.
The whole team deserves a special mention this week. The magician, the claret brothers and fuzzy in goal all had great games.
Goal scorers were Rod and Matty, Wth a little more luck we could have bagged another couple.
Mitch tried hard, still playing injured, but will get another chance next week.
Kurt, Jared and David all played well when given the opportunity.
Andy and Clint had solid games in the midfield, and thanks to Dan for backing up and scoring another goal.
Thanks to all the supporters who travelled to Bathurst to cheer the boys on. Your support is much appreciated.
Training next week will be a little different. All players who can make it will be taken on a fishing outing. Be at the ground in time for a 2pm departure.
Next weekend we play at home for the last competition game for the year.
The team is hoping for a addition to the family this week. Wok is expecting his wife to give birth to their second child.
