Our Cubs give Collegians a lesson in goal-scoring

26 Aug, 2010 01:11 PM
OBERON under 7 Cubs played outstanding soccer against Collegians on Saturday, scoring a runaway 8-1 win.

The win was a great boost for the team with all players scoring at least one goal, and some scoring more.

Connor notched up his first goal for the year to provide a highlight for himself and all of us! His consistency up front really paid off.

Riley and Beau had a top game in defence as well as taking some great balls up towards goal and getting involved in the scoring.

Brock and Max worked well together- both scoring in both halves.

Well-done Cubs. Keep up the great effort - you are all good sports and a fun team to coach.

Everyone shared the Player of the Week award this week.
