He has created and/or co-created highly successful and internationally prestigious annual events on the comedy calendar - The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Charity Gala, now in its 16th year, and The World Comedy Tour.

Peter chaired the major international writers' festival, the National Screenwriters Conference, for over a decade, has been involved in the planning and execution of many industry events and conferences, been a regular industry judge on awards shows such as The Logies (and produced the Logies in 1992), the International Emmy’s, the New Zealand Qantas Television Awards, and the ASTRA Subscription Television Awards.
