The Child and Family Health Nurse will visit every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Health assessment, advice, information and support, free immunisation, referral to genetic counselling, referral to early intervention or other services she offers can be booked through Oberon Hospital.
The Community Nurse is available five days a week for health education, school surveillance, diabetes education, immunisation, referral to other health services, child and family health and pre-natal and anti-natal care. Book through Oberon Hospital.
District Nurses are available seven days a week, and offer personal care, dressings and so on, medical supervision, referral to the Aged Care Assessment team, Veterans Affairs, and short term after hospitalisation.
Immunisation is available on the first Tuesday of every month at the Community Health Centre. Book through Oberon Hospital.
Audiometry clinics for all ages are available on a Friday monthly. Book through Bathurst Community Health Centre on 6339 5677.
Diabetes education is available on a Wednesday monthly, which includes diabetes education and product sales, and can be booked through St. Vincents in Bathurst on 6331 2555.
The Mental Health Team visits on a Monday every week, and deals with mental health issues, anxiety and depression, and suicide. Book by calling Warialda House in Bathurst on 6330 5850.
The Footcare Clinic occurs every fortnight on a Tuesday, and there can be referrals to podiatrists is needed. Can be booked through Oberon Hospital.
A psychologist visits every Friday, and deals with child and adolescent emotional and behavioural problems, adult depression, stress and anxiety, eating disorders, and post-natal depression. Can be booked through Bathurst Health Centre on 63305677.
Child Sexual Assault Services are available on Thursday every fortnight. Book through Bathurst Health Centre on 6331 4133.
A social worker is available once a week, and provides assistance in personal and family crisis, emotional stress, relationships, financial problems, and domestic violence. Can be booked through Bathurst Community Health Centre on 6339 5677.
A speech pathologist is available every Thursday, and assists with speech problems, and feeding issues with infants. Book through Bathurst Community Health Centre on 6330 5677.
Oberon Hospital also offers Meals on Wheels seven days a week and Daycare on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and can be booked at Oberon Hospital. Both of these services are in need of volunteers. The kitchen provides nutritionally balanced meals fresh for meals for the hospital and meals on wheels.
The Oberon Hospital also has 4 Extended Care In The Home packages, which is equivalent to one residential high care bed.
