Ray and Laurie McMahon have been the victims of more vandalism and harassment at their premises in Carrington Avenue and Scotia Avenue.
In the early hours on Monday morning vandals have entered a private property poisoning lawns and flower beds. Vandals have also left their mark on a 20 metre long colorbond fence with grafitti in red paint.
In Scotia Avenue, a yellow utility parked in a unoccupied block has been targeted with white pint.
Ray estimates the damage to total thousands of dollars.
“This vandalism and harassment has been going on for over ten years. We’ve had several explosive devices left on our premises. We had kerosene poured over our front verandah and set on fire,” said Ray.
The ongoing harassment and intimidation is starting to take its toll on the elderly couple. Ray’s wife Laurie is frightened and has been away for the last month staying with her daughter.
Ray is having the soil tested to see exactly what poisons have been used.
Ray has taken photos of all the damage and this latest incident has been reported to police.
