Tablelands Way opening postponed to the New Year

27 Nov, 2008 07:27 AM
THE official opening of The Tablelands Way experience which was to have been held on Saturday, November 29 has been postponed due to the forecast of deteriorating weather between now and Saturday.

The project team is concerned that the site, already damp from last weeks rain, will become too soft to handle for the anticipated number of bikes and people expected for the event.

The team thanks volunteers and, in particular to Rob and Deb Kane, for the wonderful job in preparing for the opening.

The event will now be held early in the New Year, probably in late January or early February at a date to be announced.

The band ‘Mid Life Crisis’ will still be performing on Saturday night at the Taralga Sports Club.
