Oberon is literally lighting up this Christmas with locals putting huge efforts into decorating their homes for Christmas.
And they have good reason: Santa will be in Oberon next Monday night to judge the Oberon Christmas Light Competition!
Santa will accompany the judges around Oberon between 8pm and 11pm on Monday, December 21 to see your magnificent Christmas decorations.
Be sure to leave your lights on until then and maybe you will see a glimpse of Santa.

This year the categories are: Best Decorated Street (three houses or more), Nativity Scene, Santa and his Helpers, Christmas Lights Display, Character Display, Business Display and Overall Display: Judges and Santa's choice.
There is a major prize of $300 towards your car service or repairs at Oberon Motors or NRMA Insurance.
