This feature celebrates the contribution and excellence of many of the businesses and individual employees who were nominated this year.

It is a testament to the wonderful support and services these businesses provide for our community.

There is also a voting coupon for the People’s Choice Award, sponsored by the Oberon Review, which allows the Oberon people to vote for a business of their choice.

The winning business will receive a certificate and $200 prize money, as well as recognition for their business. Voting coupons must be returned either by post or in person to the Oberon Review by the 28th of November, 2008.

With so many of our wonderful local businesses and employees nominated, the Awards Presentation Dinner will be a huge event, where the winners of each category will be announced, along with the People’s Choice Award.

The Awards Presentation Dinner will be held on Wednesday the 3rd of December 2008 at the Oberon RSL, commencing at 6:30pm for 7pm.

The cost of the tickets is $30 for a two course meal, with drinks available for purchase at the bar.

All tickets for the dinner will be pre-sold, as final numbers must be confirmed with the RSL Club by Monday the 24th November.

Tickets can be purchased by mail by using order forms in previous Oberon Review issues or in person from Oberon Vet Surgery (94 Oberon Street) or Rosedale Gifts (155 Oberon Street).
