So, get into the festive mood, decorate your house, garden, street or shop and bring extra Christmas cheer to town.

The Oberon Business Association is pleased to be supported by NRMA and Oberon Motors in the “Oberon Christmas Lights Competition”. Michael and Branka Paterson will generously donate an “NRMA Green Slip” to the overall winner.

This is your opportunity to showcase your place and also share your passion for festive decorations with the admiring public.

Oberon residents can nominate their homes and be listed in the paper for people to visit or drive past and be amazed at the beautiful light displays you have created.

Judging will cover various categories, including Nativity Scene, Row of Houses (minimum 3), Santa and his helpers, Christmas Light Display, Character Display, and Business Display. There are some great gift vouchers to be won.

Displays will be judged in accordance with the following criteria: visual appeal, uniqueness, safety and tidiness, overall impact and variety of decorations used.

Judging will take place on Monday December 15th, between 8.00 and 11.00 p.m. Please leave your lights on to assist the judges.

You can enter the competition by completing an entry form and returning it to Ray White Real Estate by 5pm Monday December 15.
