There has been concern that Oberon will be without a dentist after Dr Rik Kroone conducted his last surgery last Thursday after four years in Oberon.
Dr Kroone is moving with his family to Melbourne.
But the surgery will not be empty for long, with a new dentist moving into the surgery soon.
Council has been in negotiations with a new dentist from Lithgow, who is expected to re-open the dental clinic next Thursday.
