Concern planned for seniors

31 Jul, 2008 08:19 AM
THE Oberon Senior Citizens’ Club has announced that a concert will be held at the Oberon RSL on September 23.

Peter Horan is well known for his ability in singing and piano playing, together with his ability to interact with his audiences.

He is well known in the Central West as a great entertainer, but he is also well known in Queensland, Tamworth and, in fact, Australia wide through his ‘Live Concert Performances’.

The concert will begin at 1pm, with an afternoon tea break at 1:30pm. The entertainment will then continue until 3:30pm.

This concert is for any person over 55 who is a resident of the Oberon Shire, but it is also open to someone who may be a carer or minder of someone over 55, so they may accompany them to the concert.

We will need guests attending the event to RSVP so we can organise catering and seating.

There will be a form at the Oberon Council to register your name and contact details.

For more information, contact Tom and Kerryn Coulter on 63362142, or Pat McGregor on 63361629.
